In the Conservatory of 音乐 our goal is to help each student achieve their potential to become a well-rounded musician. All great performances go far beyond technical mastery to include a sense of history, 社会, culture and art. 在雷德兰兹, our students learn to perform, interpret and teach music in a liberal arts environment that provides a broad education and intense training.

在雷德兰兹 you can perform in the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, 管弦乐队, Chapel Singers, University Choir, Studio Jazz Band, Jazz Improv Ensemble, 打击乐器 Ensemble, 吉他 Ensembles, and Opera Theater Workshop. Our studio faculty are among the finest musicians and teachers in Southern California. The classes are small and your teachers will know you well, giving you an individualized education.

The Conservatory of 音乐 has a very close and special relationship with the 雷德兰兹 Symphony 管弦乐队 (RSO). 雷德兰兹 students get to see their teachers perform in Memorial Chapel as the principal players in the RSO and qualified students have the opportunity to play in the RSO as an assistant, substitute or section player. The student winner of the University of 雷德兰兹 Concerto Competition earns the opportunity to perform with the RSO on a regular subscription series concert.
